Creepy Crawlies
Tuesday, January 12, 6 p.m.
4-H staff will take us inside the world of bugs with Build-a-Bug, Insect Olympics and other fun activities. Don’t miss it! Grades K through 5.

Valentine Workshop
Tuesday, February 9, 6 p.m.
An annual favorite! We’ll have all the supplies to help you make valentines for those you love. Ages 3 years and older.

Wizard Workshop

Astound your friends and amaze your neighbors with magic tricks and showmanship you'll learn from Magic by John! Ages 8 to 10 years.

Super Science Space Event

Tuesday, April 13, 6 p.m.
Super Science is back by popular demand and this time we are blasting off into the cosmos! This fast-paced and fun event will have you looking at constellations and star patterns, acting out the famous myth of the big dipper, and racing to Mars. Grades K through 5.

Get Crafty!
Tuesday, May 4, 6 p.m.
Stop by and make an old favorite or a new one! Ages 3 years and older.

Let's Celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday!

You will wonder if the Cat in the Hat really is in the library! We will read Dr. Seuss books, make a craft and decorate a birthday cupcake. Grades K and higher.

Meet Nancy Smith, founder of Shy Wolf Sanctuary, and some of her animal friends. Registration is required. Grades K and higher.

April Showers Bring May Flowers!
Tuesday, May 11, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Join Trisha from 4H and make a pressed flower craft. She will bring flowers and show us how to make several items using pressed flowers. Grades K and higher.

Handmade Treasures
January 4 - February 22

In cooperation with the Friends of the Library, the Neapolitan Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America are celebrating their Needlework Show, February 18-20, by donating a doll and a bear to be given away at the Headquarters Regional, Naples Regional, and South Regional libraries. Ask how to participate.

Sing 'n' Learn
Mondays, January 11, February 22, March 22, April 19, 10:30-11 a.m.
This music-rich program encourages early literacy skills with stories, songs, rhymes, chants and instruments. Register the first Monday of each month. Ages 2 to 6 years. 
 
C’mon—Start with the Arts!

Join the Children’s Museum of Naples (C’mon) as we explore the world through art and stories in our preschool program. Play ‘n’ Learn
Join your child for a half hour of activities that will engage the attention of the children while the parents/caregivers learn some essential early literacy skills. Each child who attends will receive a free book.

Going to the Dogs

Cunningly clad canines will cavort in costume across the stage. These darling dogs will then move to the Children’s Library for some face-to-face time with you. Ages 3 years and older.

Down on the Farm
Monday, March 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

There will be chickens, rabbits, goats and maybe a pig, to pet in the courtyard. Registration is not required. All ages.

Spring Craft Workshop
Monday, March 22, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Bring a bit of spring into your home with these fun crafts. Ages 3 years and older.

Stop, Drop & Read
Monday, April 12, 4 - 6 p.m. 
4 - 4:20 p.m. Hear a firefighter read a story. See his gear. Do a craft. Ages 16 mo.-6 years

5 - 6. Climb on board a real fire truck. Registration is not required to see the fire truck. All ages.

Teddy Bear Clinic
Monday, April 26, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Bring your favorite bear to the clinic for a check-up with Dr. Goodbear. We’ll also make some bear-y nice crafts and play some bear-y exciting games. Ages 2 to 6 years.

Under the Sea Magic Show - sponsored by the Friends of the Library
Monday, May 10, 6:30-7:15 p.m.
Robbie the Ringmaster will bring laughter and magic to the library. Ages 2 to 7 years.

A Visit by the Tooth Fairy
Monday, May 17, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Don’t miss this exciting visit by the Tooth Fairy. There will be a toothy craft. Ages 5 to 7 years.

The library parking lot will be filled with trucks of every shape and kind. Come talk to the operators, sit in the driver’s seat and experience trucks up close and personal, and then visit the Children’s Library for truck crafts. Registration is not required. All ages.

Lulu from Outside the Box Studio will bring the colorful wonders of "Carnival" with music, stories, and a craft. Grades K through 5.

Read to a Bunny at the Library
Wednesday, March 10, 4-6 p.m.
Real bunnies everywhere! Read to them and earn a carrot for every page you read. We will also make a bunny puppet to read to at home. Grades K through 5.

St. Patrick's Day Party
Wednesday, March 17, 4-5 p.m.

Hail the Irish potato! We will learn about the significance of the vegetable, taste colcannon, create art with potato stamping and make a Mr. Potato head. Grades 1 through 6. 

Celebrate the Earth Party

Word Friends Return
Wednesday, April 28, 4-5 p.m.

See the popular PBS Kids show, WordWorld. They’re animals whose bodies are made up of letters that spell what they are. Learn word building skills through games and fun. Ages 4 to 6 years.

Mother’s and Father’s Day Workshop
Wednesday, May 5, 3-6 p.m.

Make a card and gift for your mom and dad. Grades K through 5.
