School Supplies Drive, August 2 through 14
In partnership with Collier County Public Schools, the Library will conduct its first Annual School Supplies Drive from Monday, August 2, through Saturday, August 14.
Collection bins in each library location will be available to receive public donations of new school supplies to help needy schoolchildren in Collier County.
Here is a list of supplies most in demand and usually required of students by schools:
8 count box of crayons
24 count box of crayons
24 count boxes of #2 pencils
Glue sticks
Black & white composition books
Child’s scissors (FISKAR® preferred)
Package wide-ruled notebook paper
Spiral notebooks (single subject solid color)
Solid colored folders with pockets & prongs
12 inch ruler
Packages of 5 count dry erase markers (black preferred)
Index cards
Computer paper
Bookpacks
Box of baby wipes
Box of gallon size zip lock bags
Box of sandwich size zip lock bags
