Online Payments

Library fines and fees may be paid online when you log in to your Collier County Public Library account. This function is only available for fines and fees of $10 or more.

NOTE: The Library supports secure online credit card payments using SSL security and 128-bit encryption certified by VeriSign™. You may verify our certificate and the validity of our secure web site by clicking the VeriSign™ icon on the Online Payments page. Your browser will display a locked padlock icon.

BEFORE YOU PAY ONLINE

  1. Please note that the "Pay Online" icon (as above) will appear in your account only if you owe a minimum of $10.00 in fines and fees. Online payments must total a minimum of $10.00. A total amount less than $10.00 cannot be paid online.

  2. The online payment function uses pop-up and new windows. Please disable pop-up blockers in your browser that might prevent new windows from opening.

  3. You must print and retain your receipt in order to receive a refund. The system will send you an email receipt if you have entered an email address in your account or enter your email address at the time of your transaction. Payment for lost material returned within 60 days will be refunded (minus a $3 processing fee) by presenting the item and the receipt to library staff.

  4. The system is not set up to accept card scanners in the library; for security reasons, library staff cannot process your payment on your behalf.

TO PAY YOUR FINES AND FEES ONLINE:

  1. Login to My Account. If you owe $10 or more in fines and fees, a "Pay Online" icon will appear on the left side of the screen. Click to open a new secure payment window.

  2. Select the fines you want to pay. If you check or uncheck individual fines or fees, select “Recalculate Total” before continuing your transaction.

  3. Enter billing information. All fields are required.

  4. Your email address appears automatically if it is already in your account. If not, enter your email address so that the system can email you a receipt for the transaction. In any case, the Library strongly recommends that you print a receipt (step 6), which is required for refunds.

  5. Enter your credit card information. Then select “Submit.” On the following screen, confirm that your information is correct. Then select Submit.”

  6. The next screen is your receipt. Select "Print" to print a receipt. If you are paying for a lost item and you find and return the item with printed receipt within 60 days of this payment, your item payment will be refunded in full minus a $3 processing fee.

  7. Select “OK” to complete your transaction.

  8. The system returns you to your account start page when finished. Be sure to log out of your account, especially if you are at a public computer.

  9. Your transaction will appear on your credit card statement as: "COLLIER LIB."
