7. Requesting materials (placing a hold).
You can request most library materials, using our online catalog or
in person. Placing a request
or hold will notify staff to hold an item for you at the pick-up
location you designate.
In the catalog, find the title in which you are interested. Look
for the
Request button. Click the Request button to open the request form. If
you expect to request multiple titles, log into your account first so that you
do not have to repeat input of your name and library card number.
A limit of 6 (six) active requests may be maintained at the same time. You will be notified by e-mail (if you have selected this option in My Account) or computer-generated telephone message when your requested materials are available.
