3. Loan periods
Material: each type of material loaned by the library has
specific loan rules.
Loan period: how long you can borrow an item.
How many?: the total number of items you can have on loan on your
account.
Holds?: whether an item can be requested
(for details see 7. Requesting materials).
Renewals?: how many consecutive times you can borrow an item. You cannot renew an item if another patron has requested it.

Replacement cost of lost or damaged materials is the actual (retail) cost or the default cost listed above. Replacement processing fee for lost or damaged items is $3.00 per item.
Renewals cannot be made for items for which there is an outstanding hold request.
